It is not, but it is so easy to install that I definitely would try
this before going to the hazzle to compile your own real time one.
try and then run the realTimeConfigQuickScan
http://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/system_configuration to see if it
solves your issue.

all you need to do is:
(assuming a directory where there is no other .deb file in)

wget
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.18.7-vivid/linux-headers-3.18.7-031807-lowlatency_3.18.7-031807.201502110759_amd64.deb

wget
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.18.7-vivid/linux-image-3.18.7-031807-lowlatency_3.18.7-031807.201502110759_amd64.deb

wget
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.18.7-vivid/linux-headers-3.18.7-031807_3.18.7-031807.201502110759_all.deb

sudo dpkg -i *.deb

then reboot.
