Coming from MOTU, yes...
They don't mention Linux (and don't give 'system requirements'
as they do for Windows and OSX) when talking about the USB audio
interface.
But if it really works this seems like a nice product. It even
has ADAT I/O so you can use it with preamps like the Micstasy
or 1788A.
