It gets weirder. Trying different escaping
$ aconnect tickle:0 'Pure Data':1
Connection failed (Operation not permitted)
$ aconnect tickle:0 'Pure Data:1'
Connection failed (Operation not permitted)
$ aconnect tickle:0 Pure\ Data:1
Connection failed (Operation not permitted)
but, as i wrote before,
$ aconnect tickle:0 Pure Data:1
just works.
