I _wish_ this was a silly question.

All information I currently have about this is here:

There are some supported cards with digital outs, and a very few with
digital ins. I know of _nothing_ with multitrack inputs and hardly
anything with multitrack outs.

Anyone with any more information is encouraged to send it to me for
inclusion in the HOWTO (though I've been lax about updating it this
month).
