Because VST and TDM are not free. I have not found TDM specifications
at all.

They are fixed to underlying implementation (VST SDK refers to ASIO
which is not free and nothing is in public -- you have to sign NDA to
get anything on it).

If you think VST and TDM are as good as what we are doing, then we should
develop VST further to suit also our purposes and demand the changes to
official VST --- do you think that is possible?

As soon as VST and TDM are released to public domain or GPL/LGPL
I will check them more closely.
