No. But I will probably try Acid this weekend. I haven't purchased a
proprietary product in years, and a windows product in even longer.
But this past weekend I purchased Acid Music for $49 at Best Buy.
(Justifying in my head that if it was as good as everyone says, that
I would clone it for Linux). The only problems I ran in to have to
do with the fact that I stupidly installed SP6 for WinNT and now
get the BSOD every fifteen minutes.
The program is cool, and if anyone is interested in a project to
take the best ideas from it and create something improved for Linux,
let me know. This seems like one of those apps that a GPL'd version
could speed adoption of Linux.
My only concern is that some of the timestretch algorithms might
be patented.
