hello,
hope everyone's having a nice 19100.
i was wondering if anyone had pricing/availability for the RME
hammerfall cards and what AD/DA boxes you all are using (cheap stereo
would be ok)?
has anyone used resierfs? journalling is a nice feature
especially with the less stable kernels or when hacking drivers, but has
anyone compared its performance with ext2?
i think i saw someone mention wanting to load akai samples awhile
back; i have a few programs that load and play akai samples (triggered
from midi input) or can convert them to wave files. the code is a bit
convoluted, but some bits might be useful to some people out there.
they're at www.async.cx/music.html. i tested them on East-West's
"ultimate strings".
has anyone seen code or documentation to read EMU e4 harddisks or
cds ? the ability to import this format along with s1000/3000 would be a
major plus.
