That's the idea... by 2001, let's be rid of monoliths! :-)

That said, you still need a visual editor for event data at _some_
level, even if it just lets you decide when to fire meta events
(start sequence #1 at 3 seconds, start ramping in auto-accompaniment
at 6 seconds, etc). That's my niche at the moment.
