...while some people are worried about overhead in the MuCoS event
system...! Increasing the the resolution of values, number of channels
etc - ie making the protocol more efficient - makes implementing it a
lot easier, and cuts overhead. Also, less "mytical stuff" is needed
between the user and the low level protocol.
