I've been writing control software for CMAutomation's
MotorMix which has 8 motorized faders, and almost
no brain ;). There are some details at http://www.five12.com.
Let me know if that looks like something that might
be appealing. I expect to have a beta ready in the next
few weeks. Also, Doepfer makes some interesting
controllers.
