Hello everybody!
This is an announcement to all people who are interested in the
development of audio and music-related applications for the LINUX
operating system.
The Linux-Audio-Development mailing list now has its own homepage,
offering subscription info, a FAQ, and a searchable archive. It can
be found at: http://audio.netpedia.net/lad/
We would like to encourage you to consider joining the list. Over
the
course of the last year, it has become the most important forum for
Linux Audio Development, with an excellent s/n ratio and very
focused
discussions.
Our goal now is to provide a common exchange point for all related
software projects, to gain new subscribers willing to share their
knowledge, and to encourage wider code reuse and cooperation.
Recent discussions include the design of a generalized plugin API
and
realtime capabilities of Linux-based DAWs.
