Subject: [linux-audio-dev] [OT] kernel upgrade

Greetings:
I recently upgraded hardware & software here. I loaded up a stock RH
6.1 installation, I'm very happy with it, but I need to recompile the
kernel in order to get SCSI emulation for burning CDs. My current kernel
is 2.2.12.
I wondered whether LAD members had any particularly strong feelings or
thoughts about which kernel I should go with. Will the low-latency
patches work with stable series kernels past 2.2.12 ? Any particular
improvements (sound-related or not) that I might want from the more
recent kernels ?
As ever, any & all advice will be vastly appreciated...
Best regards,
== Dave Phillips
