Subject: [linux-audio-dev] ALSA HW/SW mixing question

Hi,
1. In my program utilizing ALSA, I managed to use the hardware mixing
facilities of my SB Life! Is there a way to influence the volume of the
single channels (i.e. specific for the respective subdevice) other than
multiplying the samples myself?
2. I read that it is possible to do software mixing inside the ALSA
driver. How can I use this feature?
Many thanks in advance,
Matthias
