Well, I could most use:

      * mono versions of all the delays
      * pitch shifter
      * harmonizer (really just N pitch shifters)
      * a generic dynamics processor
      * noise reduction

this dynamics processor is a particularly important issue for me. the
h/w based world has forced people into thinking that compression,
expansion and limiting are all different processes. in the digital
realm, they are not, and they all can all be handled with a transfer
function. i would really like to see a plugin that could do this,
although it would stretch LADSPA to the limit, since it really needs a
*curve* as a control datum, not a single value. i kept trying to write
something for Quasimodo that would do this, but never really finished
it since it needed a new graphic control element.

On the farther-off wishlist:

   * ring modulator
   * resonator(s)
   * multiband EQ

and finally, something like those "unclassifiable" TDM plugins whose
name i don't recall but just do *wierd* stuff to the signal in really
acoustically and musically interesting ways.
