unfortunately, its not one of the opcodes that i got a GPL license for
when i was doing quasimodo. it was written by Victor Lazzarini in
1998, and is subject to the (stupid) Csound MIT license. If anyone can
track Victor down, i'd love to hear about it. of course, what
"violating the license" means is hard to say with the Csound license :)
