Can pure data play back the accompanying 4/8/16/24/32 tracks at the
same time ? I think not ... disk i/o management techniques for this
stuff go someway beyond what any of this class of application has
implemented. Things might just about work if run with maximum h/w
latency, but then it would be horrible to use unless the audio
interface supports h/w monitoring, and 98%+ of all the cards used by
most people do not.
