Yes, this combination works fine with ALSA 0.9x, and is what I'm currently
using for development purposes. From what Claus (of hoontech.de) has said,
only one external box is supported, but otherwise almost everything is
there.

The C-Port combo is very good for the money, although I would recommend
using your own headphone amp if required - the internal one isn't that
great.
