looks like they are placed in slots that share IRQ lines.

the (usually four afaik) irq lines are wired as follows:

INTA --- P -.,--- P -.,--- P -
INTB --- C -'\,-- C -'\,-- C - etc.
INTC --- I --'\,- I --'\,- I -
INTD --- 1 ---'`- 2 ---'`- 3 -

the actual crossing scheme is different on real world mobos, but you
get the idea. pci cards normally only use the first INT (cards that
need two IRQs are rare).
so depending on how the wires are crossed, some cards get to share
resources. normally this is not a problem, but since a scsi and an
multichannel audio controller are both firing of an awful number of
IRQs, things may get screwed here (my guess).

try moving one of the cards into another slot.

good luck.
