Good idea. The rtc latency test (1024) has a max latency of 1.7ms with
all but 5 samples occuring a fraction of that latency. (bdflush?)
Anyway it looks like it's the maestro3 driver. Min latency is still 8.3ms
with either OSS or alsa's OSS emulation. I get horrible overruns with
any buffers smaller than 8x512. I'll see about the driver.
