This is what I'm talking about. We've got all these competing apps but
not one of them is entirely useful. It's really frustrating. Considering
how much time and effort goes into writing them.

FYI Brian,

Hi,

This is a new version of Large data support for sweep.
Changes:
- various bug fixes
- added threaded I/O for syncing memory window into swap file and
reading data in read ahead mode.

You can change memory window size by altering SW_WIN_SIZE (in samples)
in
include/sweep/sweep_large.h file.
If you don't like debuging messages then remark #define DEBUG in
src/largedata.c file.
Threaded I/O could be off/on by un/defining USE_THREAD in the same file.

I'm wishing you happy testing and waiting for any feedback if you like
it or not.

Patch can be also dowloaded from:
http://oceanic.wsisiz.edu.pl/~korzenie/sweep-largedata.20010516.diff

best regards
