I guess 1) is pretty uncommon in most cases (except you work for a linux
firm, but even here I would have my doubts)

I've learnt not to make any assumptions and always assume the worst.
So I will believe when I will see.
Next time such a meeting gets organized , it would be better to use
"additive synthesis" rather than the "subtractive" one.
