I think you have to provide a seperate plugin, although this can exist in
the same file.
I don't see how the plugin can know how wany parameters is going to need
until at least one has been set, and the host can inspect the list of
parameters at any time after the plugin has been dlloaded.
You could have something with environment variables or whatever, but that
doesn't seem like a good idea.
