Don't laugh. This is from a review of the Creamware Luna II card, from
Remix magazine:

With some direction from CreamWare's technical support staff, I found
that Fruityloops works best with DirectSound drivers, whereas Acid Pro
needs to have a WAV source input. Propellerhead's Reason works fairly
well with either option. Logic Audio demands Emagic's EASI
protocol. Nemesys's GigaStudio and GigaSampler require GSIF, and
Steinberg's Cubase must run on ASIO.
