I do not think there is anything at all comparable. Acid has such a broad
amount of features. Most linux projects are more dedicated towards a specific
task and smaller in scope, pretty much in keeping with UNIX philosophy.

Yes I have been using FruityLoops, older version, under wine for awhile now.
Unfortunately Acid Pro requires DirectX V8.0 so I doubt it would work under
wine. vmware would run it but you would need a bitchin machine.
