I saw/heard a great demonstration of Spiral Loops in Bordeaux. I've
never used Acid. Some of my students use it regularly, but I couldn't
say whether it's really anything like Spiral Loops. Certainly the user
interfaces are quite different. Spiral Loops is pretty cool though, and
it might be included with the Demudi distro (so there may be a Debian
package available).

Btw, I just downloaded and compiled Spiral Loops 2.0.0 with no trouble.
Can't say the same for GDAM 0.938, got an error regarding the villainous
libtool, guess I'd better contact Geoff & Dave...
