Hi,
I'm also subscribed to some synth-diy lists
which are maybe of interest for things like
building a MIDI Interface.
The first is specialised in synth-diy projects
made with DSP's:
http://shoko.calarts.edu/~glmrboy/musicdsp/music-dsp.html
And the other is more for analog stuff:
http://www.euronet.nl/~rja/Emusic/Synth-diy/
And they have a big archive.
Probably you can get support there.
Joachim
