Actually that address doesn't exist. Use omega_AT_temple-baptist.com
instead. I should try to get @gstreamer.net to work though....

One of the goals of SpeciaLib is to try to gather canonical
processor-detection routines, as almost every detection routine I've
seen is flawed in some way, misdetecting some chips and ignoring other
classes entirely. This would not be limited to just x86, either.
There's more information about SpeciaLib and related projects (all of
which are of interest to high-performance audio processing) on the
