i'm in.
i can bring network gear (couple nics, an 8way switch, some cat5), a
dual p3/600 (no screen, 'cause i'll be coming by train - still got a
spare one, frank ?), a laptop for hacking, mikes and cables.
maybe i can borrow an adat xt and a mackie mixer from a friend as
well - anyone got a hammerfall to go with it ?
probably i can get a 4-way headphones amp for "almost-silent"
demonstrations.
frank, i'll prepare a leaflet as i promised - the next draft will
hopefully be done by the end of the week.
i'm also thinking about a diagram of all the key components in a
linux audio system: kernel, ll and preemption patches, rtc, alsa
drivers + kernel api, alsa lib and userspace api, LADSPA hosts and
plugins, JACKd and clients, alsa sequencer etc...
it's already sorted out on paper - can anyone recommend a good
application to draw such charts ?

if you're doing a presentation, i could try and translate, although
i think most developers will understand english anyway.
