Ok so I hit play in Ardour, here is what I got
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=0,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=0,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=3899648,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=5140736,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=4853248,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=8019712,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=8943360,0
numid=13,iface=PCM,name='Output Peak',index=1
; type=INTEGER,access=r----,values=2,min=0,max=0,step=0
: values=10902272,0
the value changes when I hit the play button in Ardour, and returns to 0
on stop. I setup amixer in a 1 second loop, so the values are at 1 sec
intervals
