alas, you're not defining the problem you want to solve well enough.

is it that you want to take MIDI data and produce audio data and then
send that to an audio interface?

or is it that you want to send MIDI data to a synthesizer device on
your audio interface?

or is it that you want to send MIDI data to a MIDI port that is
connected to some external MIDI-controlled synthesizer?
