Hi All,
I've just been informed by the UK Patent Office that the EUCD (European
Union Copyright Directive, the equivalent EU legislation to the DMCA)
consultation paper has been released.
Please forward this information onto as many people as you can. And
those on the list who are in other EU countries please be on the
lookout. IIRC this legislation is due to be put into force EU-wide in
Nov.
It's important that we give feedback to the UK government that this
legislation will have a chilling effect on the software industry.
Cheers
Phil
