Hi!
I'm an (unexperienced) developper and I'd like to work on a level meter
for Alsa
( just a vu-meter or peakmeter to monitor soundcard's input/output levels).
It would only need Alsa and gtk libs to run, it could be a kind of
"alsa util".
So, does this type of levelmeter already exists? ( To me , it seems that
no but I'm not sure)
Or does someone plan to make something like that?
If no , is there a chance that it could work (in other words, is there
any Alsa problem making
this levelmeter very difficult/impossible to do or to slow etc...)
In alsa lib, there are functions called snd_pcm_meter_xxx and
snd_pcm_scopes_xxx,
can they be used for level metering ?
This makes a lot of questions!
