I've tried all three and none work, but on a conceptual basis.. the
plugin wants Hz, not 0-1.

That's basically what I was wondering/looking for. Of course, (to be
the pedant) my view for this project is "larger scale" in scope and
usefullness perhaps, but not actual project size.
