Looks great in snd and emacs for a scriptable extensible
environment;). It should be, in my opinion, also scriptable from the
terminal shell.

Sorry, I'm very interested in this issue. Care to elaborate?. Any
chance for rebirth?. Maybe in the gtk+-2 version?. This is, for me,
the most wickedly nice way to work.
