If you want pristine beauty, you should have a look the function
to find the intersection of two lists in Ocaml:

let rec intersect lst =
    function
            [] -> []
        | head :: tail ->
                if List.mem head lst then
                    head :: intersect lst tail
                else
                    intersect lst tail
