What about Juce then? Fancy plugin-like and cross-platform UI easily designed
with the Jucer, VST/RTAS/AU out of a single code base (adding LV2 would be
amazing IMO), lots of audio related utilities, and now even JACK support with
the Juced "fork" (I didn't test this one though).
