It's not the subject line... it's this lines in your e-mail
header:

References: <tag:old.nabble.com,2006:post-29241238@localhost.localdomain>
In-Reply-To: <tag:old.nabble.com,2006:post-29241238@localhost.localdomain>

Notice that it has "old.nabble.com" and reference a post on
"localhost.localdomain." In contrast, a normal looking one
is like this:

No, this /is/ the problem.

However, there should be a way to set up your feeds so that
it produced a correctly formatted e-mail. I've used, e.g.,
thunderbird to reply to ML's via gmane -- and AFAIK it
worked correctly.
