IMHO it's very appropriate, and i would encourage MIDI discussions
here.

i don't really think a different name is necessary, and it *is* too
late.
however, the inclusion of MIDI topics will be stated more explicitly
on the list homepage and info files as soon as i get around to
update them. thanks for pointing this out.
