hmm. digital audio is either correct or incorrect, there should be
no "sound quality". otoh, there may be subtle bugs that degrade
audio quality (perhaps by losing random chunks of samples), but they
are normally clearly audible as such.

my guess is psycho, but not necessarily acoustic ;-)
