Actually no. Though I couldn't produce any references if asked, I do
believe I've read some people say that Ogg Vorbis's psychoacoustic
model is superior. To my ears as well Ogg Vorbis with a nominal bitrate
of 256kbps beats MP3's, even out of LAME.
