You are wrong

lets assuming you have 48 KHz Audio samples each 16 bit(2 Byte)
so you have 96KB/s Data
With an HD, which claims to be able to be able to transfer 108MBits/S
(is 13.5 MB/s) (is 13824 KB/s).
So you in principle record up to 144 Streams in parallel.
Or if you use stereo data: 72.
But do you have so many audio sources ????
