man timidity says:
...
-iA Launch timidity as ALSA sequencer client.
...

So:

TiMidity starting in ALSA server mode
can't set sched_setscheduler - using normal priority
Opening sequencer port: 128:0 128:1

I do not use jazz, muse or brahms. But if you are able to tell
them to use the sequenzer ports (128:0 ...) thus provided by timidity, then
you should be set. (man jazz|muse|brahms should spread more light
on this.)

Hope this helps a little bit,
Niklas
