You really should be using the latest 0.9.0betas for the SB Live. It is
more up to date and has better support I believe. Do you IRC? If don't
that often, but if you knew how that would be the perfect way to walk
you through setting ALSA up. If you are knew to Linux (or just ALSA for
that matter) things can seem kind of complex at first. Keep at it
though, in my opinion its very worth it.
