Thanks. Is there a site anywhere that lists what's actually usable,
under-development, and just plain dead? The linuxsound list, though
comprehensive doesn't really give any clues about the quality of each app'.
Some are clearly pre-alpha and long since abandoned, whereas others appear
to be almost ready for prime-time.

Moving on, I'm interested to know has anyone created anything using this
stuff, other than whoop-dip-bleep-whoosh academic meanderings?

Are there any non-technical muso-types that _use_ the midi/audio-recording
apps instead of vst, soundfourge et al to get something done?

Clearly things are happening with linux & audio, but I find it very hard to
determine what the state of play actually is. It would appear that it's the
perpetual `in about a year' situation...

So who's got something created with linux that we can hear?
