I used to get this too, it seems to be less of an issue with RH 7.2, even
with an unpatched kernel.

Speaking of which has anyone applies the ll patches to redhats 2.4.7-10
kernel? I tried going to 2.4.17-j17... but it hung my machine when I
started X.
