GLAME works on ppc, its good at recording up to two channels (at the
same time from one soundcard - with tweaks you'll get N channels from
N/2 soundcards, but not on a TiBook :)). Later arranging of multiple
tracks is no problem. Exporting/Importing is only supported through
libaudiofile supported formats (i.e. no mp3).

If you want to try, get the 0.6.1 version or the v0_6 branch from CVS.
