I've got an Audiophile 2496 with ALSA 0.9 beta12. Playback through
OSS emulation is OK, but applications are unable use OSS mixer
(e.g. they say stuff like "cannot access /dev/mixer", or, in the case
of XMMS, the volume control simply has no effect.)
Has anybody else experienced this, and how do I fix it..? It's really
getting irritating :(
