If it actually looks like a classic sawtooth wave, that's not true.
From Dodge, "Computer Music", 2nd edition, page 50:
"The spectrum of a sawtooth wave is shown in figure 2.25c. In this case,
all harmonics are present and they diminish in direct proportion to the
harmonic number."

A waveform with equal energy in all harmonics up to nyquist is
described on pp. 170-171. It's called "buzz" in the music-N family
(csound, cmix, saol etc).
