behringer offers quite a lot of bang for the buck, but since they are so
outworldly cheap, the amount of bang is still rather limited ;)
i found the eqs to be nice, but the board is a bit noisy. you might want
to go for the original (behringer "borrowed" the design from mackie),
but the mackies are at least twice the cost.

if you don't have very high-end needs, you might be fine with behringer,
though. they offer feature-rich products in a very competetive price
range. but when you listen to serious, hi-priced stuff in direct
comparison, you will notice a big difference.

i'd say if you have a non-pro soundcard and want to do some basic
multitracking at home, the behringer will fit nicely in your audio
chain. if you are a dedicated dat hobbyist doing classical live
recordings, get something better.
