hi all,
ive just built a new 2.4.18 kernel. i definately included the rtc.o
module, and it loads ok. However, i've noticed a few things, which have
got me a bit confused:
1) when running ./configure for the alsa-driver 0.9rc1, it sais the
following :
checking for RTC callback support in kernel... no
2) When running alsaplayer as jack client with realtime scheduling i get
the following error message:
[root_AT_larry jordan]# jackd -R -d alsa -d sb128 -r 44100
jackd 0.34.0
Copyright 2001-2002 Paul Davis and others.
jackd comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY

under certain conditions; see the file COPYING for details
creating alsa driver ... sb128|1024|2|44100|swmon
[root_AT_larry jordan]# alsaplayer -o jack
realtime scheduling active
MAD error: bad main_data_begin pointer
Not found in first 16K, bad :(
MAD error: lost synchronization
Im guessing that the things above are related, because i don't really
know anything about this. Is there something other than rtc.o i should
have included in my kernel?
thanks, jordan.
